Come early for Joe's delicious pub grub!

Hello Friends,

The first and second editions of Little Rock Music Party proved that there are a lot of us adults in Little Rock who would like to go out and enjoy some live music, including the R&B standards we grew up with, in a smoke-free environment. We like it to start relatively early on a Saturday night and not be painfully loud. We also like to share some beer and wine with people we know and have the option to dance, or to watch others dance in a congenial space.

We have a lot of conditions, which is why we typically do not go out.

This reassembling community comes together on a somewhat regular schedule (maybe every other month, maybe quarterly) to enjoy such music and company. Some of us even like to sing or play with the band in a supportive environment.

The first editions also proved that people are willing to pay about $8 per to support such an scene, though it is not a money making project or viable business model (real musicians and space cost money). I am willing to make something like this happen again on August 8th at the fabulous new space in west Little Rock that is Studio Joe.

I don't know if we will attract 30 people or 300, though Studio Joe will hold 70. I encourage people to come early to enjoy some of Studio Joe's fabulous pub grub and to ensure their admission. If you e-mail me I can hold tickets until 7:20; music starts at 7:30.

E-mail me if you would like:
