The Last Little Rock Music Party Was:

Little Rock Music Party Lives!!
PDF Print E-mail
The first Little Rock Music Party event of 2010 on May 15; our first at the Unitarian Universalist Church; went great.  A large time was had by all.  We were lucky that John “JC” Craig was able to step in for Steve Struthers on-stage.  Marc Turner, with Charlie Macom, JC and Rachel McBrine, put on a great and very danceable show.  Thanks to everyone who came, especially those who brought friends (hint), and to the church, especially Paula Gribble, for making this great space available to us.

Apparently there are collegial adults in Little Rock who still like to go out and enjoy live music, including the R&B and rock standards we grew up with, in a smoke-free environment (and not stay out to late).  We do need to expand the range of awareness of the LRMP and generate more attendees to ensure that the parties can continue (This is a subtle threat).

For the next LRPM on July 24, I am asking that folks (especially you regulars and enthusiastic newcomers) talk about the LRMP and invite friends who might be interested on your e-mails lists, Facebook, blogs and etc. media/ methods.  Forward the invitation e-mail to them (let me know if you didn’t get one or need to be put on “the list”0 and link to this site.  The more the merrier, especially on the dance floor! ?
